I have nothing but I have everything...

Today in church I was reminded how blessed I am, though I have nothing.

The message was about the rich young man in Matthew 19, who asked JESUS what he can do to enter the kingdom of Heaven. JESUS reminded him about the commandments of GOD and the rich young man said that he obeys all of them. Then JESUS said he should go and sell all he has and give it to the poor then come and follow HIM. He went away sad because he had great wealth. 

Pastor asked the question, 'What qualifies us to enter The Kingdom of Heaven?'

He ask us what do we which is valuable that we would not want to let it go easily.

I thought about the very same thing just before the new year. I realized that I have everything I need and want, but I have nothing that is mine. Whatever I have is not mine. Everything I seem to have belongs to GOD. Since the day I realized that I have nothing my perspective changed. No one can take from me because I have nothing...everything belongs to GOD.

My life belongs to GOD. I am HIS and HE is mine. There is nothing I can do to enter the Kingdom of Heaven except believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST what HE has done for me on the cross. HE died for my sin and rose again on the 3rd day so you and I will have everlasting life.

I truly have nothing yet I have everything!
